At approximately 1900 hrs, Shelton Fire Companies 1 & 4 were dispatched to the Sunnyside Boat Ramp for a reported person in the water who fell out of a boat. The caller reported a man overboard and where abouts were unknown with the last known location in the area of South Bank Park. Shelton fire marine units, EMS and the Shelton Police Dive Team responded within minutes and placed boats in the water. Shortly after boats were launched Assistant Chief Wilson reported victim was found near the bank of the river  in cardia arrest. The victim was pulled out by A/C Wilson and Co. #1 Lt. Catlin. CPR was started immediately by FD units onscene while EMS was enroute to their location. Patient was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The quick action of the Shelton Emergency Services together made the rescue rapid, effective, and seemless. Great Job to A/C Wilson and Lt. Catlin for making a great save and to the emergency services for a job well done!!!
