Companies 1 and 3 of the Shelton Fire Department were dispatched to the location above for the reported MVA with a rolled-over vehicle. Upon the arrival of the first fire unit, a single-vehicle, rollover MVA was located with the sole occupant trapped inside the vehicle. Crews from Engine 2 quickly went to work with the cutters and spreaders to remove the door of the vehicle. After approximately 5 minutes, the door was removed and crews assisted Echo Hose EMS with removing the patient. EMS transported the patient to a local hospital for evaluation. Engine 2 and Rescue 30 operated under the command of Deputy Chief Paul Wilson. Once the vehicle was removed by AJ’s Towing, all SFD and State PD cleared the scene.
