At approximately 3:30pm yesterday, the Shelton Fire Department responded to 19 Buck Hill Road for the reported structure fire. Upon arrival of fire units, a slight smoke condition was visible from the rear of the home. Crews stretched an attack hose to the interior of the home and found a small fire in the ceiling due to a lightning strike. Crews were able to extinguish the fire without causing additional damage.
