At about 0900 hrs, Companies 3, 5 & 1 were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 730 Booth Hill Rd. Dispatch stated that caller reported fire in the bedroom and they are trying to get an elderly occupant out of the house. Units arrived on scene and confirmed a working structure fire. Victims were assisted out on arrival of FD units. Hand lines were put in place and the bulk of the fire was extinguished quickly. Units remained on scene wetting down hot spots and conducting salvage and overhaul operations. Monroe was sent to Co. 5 and Derby was sent to Co. 1 for citywide coverage. 1 patient was sent to the hospital via Echo Hose Ambulance.
