At around 8:30am companies 1 and 4 were dispatched to River Road and MT. Pleasant Street for a car vs a tanker truck. FM-1 arrived first reporting 1 occupant trapped in the vehicle. Engine 2 arrived shortly after and removed both driver’s side doors, cut and folded the vehicles roof back and made a cut into the dash and then rolled it up to free the patients legs. Engine 42 arrived and used the cutter tool to remove the B-post. The patient was removed in 17 minutes and transported to the hospital. Engine 2 stood by while the tow truck removed the vehicle.
