At 12:17 pm, Shelton Fire Departments Companies 1 and 4 were dispatched to the location provided for a 2-car head-on vehicle collision. Upon the arrival of the first FD unit, a head-on crash was confirmed with both occupants conscious and alert but in obvious distress. FD assisted EMS with patient removal and provided fluid mitigation. Echo Hose Ambulance transported both occupants to a local trauma facility. Squad 1, Engine 42, Cars 2, and 4 operated under the command of Assistant Chief Mike Plavcan.
