At apporximately 1400hrs companies 1, 4, and 5 were dispatched to the Housatonic River (Area of Indian Wells State Park) to assist Oxford Fire with a capsized boat. Upon arrival, crews were directed to deploy Marine 1 and begin searching up river for a elderly male who had fallen into the river. Shelton units remained on scene for 5 hours to aid with search efforts.
