On June 2nd at 1400 hrs, Echo Hose H&L Fire Co. #1 supported Relay for Life by flying the American Flag 95ft in the air with Tower 7 and leading the opening ceremonies with a color guard. After opening ceremonies Echo Hose H&L Fire Co. #1 Color Guard led the procession of cancer survivors and their caregivers around the track for the opening lap to begin Relay for Life 2012.
At the same time as this event was being conducted additional members of Echo Hose were back at the firehouse preparing for a Steak & Brew fundraiser which was being held for Past Assistant Chief Ed “ET” Tevolitz who is battling cancer. The event was a complete success and we would like to thank all those that came out to join us!!
