At the location mentioned, Companies 1 and 3 were dispatched to Route 8 for the reported MVA with entrapment. Crews checked the area but were unable to locate anything. Rescue 45 was in the area and also responded to the accident which was located on Constitution Blvd South at the Route 8 exit ramp. The 2 car accident had had 1 occupant still pinned in the vehicle. SFD removed the driver’s door and was able to remove the patient and place them in the care of Echo Hose Ambulance. The patient was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Squad 1, Engine 2, Rescue 45, and Car 6 operated under the command of Assistant Chief Joe Constantino.
