Just before 5:00 pm the Shelton Fire Department responded to Constitution Boulevard South and the Route 8 Exit 13 northbound off-ramp for the motor vehicle accident. First arriving fire department units found a multi-car motor vehicle accident involving a pickup truck that went down an embankment. The operator of one vehicle was transported to a local hospital with injuries. During this accident, the department also responded to another accident on Route 8, a commercial fire alarm, and an EMS assist on Route 8.
