Truck 3 is a 2020 Pierce Ascendant 100′ mid-mount steel aerial tower. It sits on a 6 man Velocity Cab with a 600hp Cummins engine and has a 2000 gallon per minute Waterous pump.
Truck 3 was purchased as a demo unit in October of 2020 and replaced our 1996 KME 95′ Aerial Cat rear mount aerial tower. Reaching heights of 100′ vertically and 93′ horizontally, Truck 3 contains a 5-section heavy-duty steel ladder with a height of 10’10” and length of 41’5”. In addition, a 1,000 lb tip load capacity, up to 20-degree below grade operation, and a below grade 50-degree scrub area.
