On 3/6/13 at 1530 hrs, Echo Hose H&L Fire Co.#1 was requested for a rescue truck to respond to Derby in the area of Roseavelt Dr & Lakeview Terrace for a 2 car MVA with 4 victims and heavy entrapment. Engine 2 and Squad 5 responded and assisted Derby Fire Department with the extrication of the victims. Upon arrival it was confirmed 2 victims trapped, drivers of each vehicle, not 4 as initially reported. Shelton Co.#1 units worked on one vehicle while Derby units worked on the other. Victims were extricated and transported to area hospitals. Complete extrication time was approx. 20 minutes.
